JOHANNESBURG. – Mitsubishi Motors South Africa (MMSA) is one of the local automotive companies offering a variety of choices for families, young professionals and graduate students after university or college and on their way to the general workforce with various special offers for joining the Mitsubishi family at the end of the year.

The well-established MMSA, with a massive upturn in sales over the last three months, offers an exciting model range including the latest addition to its flagship range, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Exceed.

Referred to as Mitsubishi’s most stylish Pajero Sport yet, this family SUV has taken the market by storm in its first month of availability in September. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Exceed has led the way to increase September sales for the third month in a row compared to sales before the international disruption that locked down the world.

“Apart from these special offers, we also have our two most popular models available at each of our 44 dealers nationwide. The newly-released Mitsubishi Pajero Sport with our new flagship model, the Exceed, and the popular Eclipse Cross range,” says Campbell.

The new Pajero Sport range is driven by the proven 2.4L MIVEC Turbodiesel coupled to an 8-speed A/T transmission, while the Eclipse Cross driven by Mitsubishi’s 2.0-litre MIVEC DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder power plant was earlier this year joined by a 1.5-litre TURBO version, delivering 110 kW and a massive 250 Nm of torque.

The 2.0-litre Eclipse Cross models are coupled to a 6-step continuous variable transmission (CVT) while the TURBO makes use of an 8-step version, leading to quicker acceleration and lower fuel consumption.

“Our full product range also includes the ASX and Outlander, giving families, young professionals and graduates a wide variety of choice for year-end annual holidays, work or play and everyday urban transport,” says Campbell.

“MMSA's strength and renewed emergence in the lifestyle sector over recent months is set to continue to grow in 2021. We will continue to invest in world-class products and people, who provide the absolute best experience to our customers. The introduction of innovative products such as the new Pajero Sport and Exceed, the Triton Xtreme and the Eclipse Cross, showcases trust and technology to the market and will ensure some significant growth for the brand in the coming year.”
